Gospel Singer TY Bello Set to release fourth Solo Studio Album

Award-winning singer-songwriter and Photographer, TY Bello has announced the release of her fourth solo studio album, Africa Awake

Toyin Sokefun-Bello (born 14 January), better known as TY Bello, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, photographer and philanthropist.[2] Prior to pursuing a solo career, she was a member of the now defunct gospel band Kush.

Taking to social media on Easter Sunday (April 4), the “Greeland” singer revealed the stunning cover and release date for the upcoming project Africa Awake is scheduled to arrive on the 30th of April, 2021.

In 2015, TY Bello, began spontaneous worship sessions, which became a hub for worship leaders to meets and fellowship in God’s presence, singing new songs. These unscripted meetings have featured several gospel music ministers including the great likes of Sinach, Tope Alabi, Dunsin Oyekan, Nosa.

Ty Bello’s spontaneous worship sessions birthed a joint project with iconic Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi titled “The Spirit of Light“. Highlighted by the successful single ‘LOGAN TI O DE‘, the album features 17 unscripted songs performed live over a three-hour period.
